i just want some advice, having gone through divorce, my solicitors agreed to claim my costs from my partner and this should have been done during financial settlement, my solicitors didnt do this and now have said that i am liable for the costs. i recieved a letter which i signed at the start of the divorce which was posted to me for signing, i did not understand the legality of the letter, i feel this aught to have been explained to me in person rather than posting me a letter to sign
have the solicitors been negligent? and do i have to pay?
