Dunn Russell & Associates, Inc.- They were to work with the bank to get a loan modification for us. We paid them $2950 in which we were to get this money back if they didn't success with the modification. This process started in July 2009. We have called so many times since July and seemed to be getting the run around. They did start working with the bank and then it came to a dead halt. Suddenly we were having trouble getting an information from Dunn Russell. Today I called again & now there is a message that says they are out of business and bankrupt. They broke their contract with us and took our money. I want our money back. They also told us not to contact the bank directly. Should have known better. We did check up on them as best we could before we started this disaster. They even had a lawyer working with them (which we checked up on before we started all of this. Please help! We are now trying to work with the bank. | |||||||||

We are Craftsman Direct Ltd. company on 17 April 2008 we signed a contract with The National Trade Registre and became Registered members subscribe to and receive the following support services and benefits; Eligibility for work, entry into our working partnership schem (more detals on [http://www.thenationaltraderegister.co.uk/memberpackage_rt.php] (link: http://www.thenationaltraderegister.co.uk/memberpackage_rt.php) ) we paid £46.63 per mounth and they offered: '' ...offer a subscription refund policy. You will be eligible for a refund if you have not benefited from our support services or working partnership scheme, provided your work has been up to standard and you have demonstrated reasonable efforts to procure business from the opportunities provided by My Home Connect and The National Trade Register.'' Now when we cancelled contract affetr 1 year because we didin't get any job's from them, they wrrote :''Unfortunaly we are not able to give a refund as your contract renewed on 17 April 2009 and your cancellation has been received too late. There are nowhere exactly where in their terms and conditions or the contract it states that the time limit and cancellation clause that they are relying on. Our solisiter asked for a response within a 7 day time limit, but unfortunately they ignore. They are dodge company and we whant to protect other people. | |||||||||

I paid a full years membership for myself & my Mother total £605.I had only had 3 months worth when Sands closed.After contacting Kerry Ellway at Sands headoffice no refunds were available but she assured me they would re-open. After eventually re-opening & renaming I continued but due to ill health my mother could not.Kerry said we could freeze the membership until she was well enough & now express wellness has closed!! I even paid for sunbed block bookings!!she said she was 'a reputable business/franchisor' !!! on two occasions she has not delivered the goods & took money from innocent people!!! | |||||||||

I contracted "A Solid Gold Sound's" services to videotape my wedding on July 12, 2008. Everything went well on that day and the videographer was wonderful. Immediately after my honeymoon, I called the company and they told me that it would be ready in four to five weeks. Approximately 6 weeks after my wedding, I called "A Solid Gold Sound" and asked when my wedding video would be ready. They told me that the national average is 12 weeks but it usually never takes that long. Also, they told me that the computer system showed that my video was currently being edited. I felt that the 12 week time frame was extremely long but decided to be patient. At 10 weeks I still had not received a call from them so I called and they stated that my video was still being edited and it should only take them a couple more weeks (which would have been the 12 week mark). At 12 weeks I received a call from the contracted videographer that taped my wedding stating that he still had my video because "A Solid Gold Sound" had never paid him. I couldn't believe it since I had been told for 6 weeks that my tape was currently being edited. When I called the company to confront them about this matter, John, the President of the company, stated that the video was being edited until I brought it to his attention that they didn't even have my tape to edit. John then apologized and told me that my tape would immediately be edited and assured me that it would not take another month to get it to me. Also, John told me that he doesn't give out his last name. Now on October 8, 2008, the month mark that I was assured would never come, is a couple of days away. I talked to John today and my video still isn't ready. Today, October 28, marks the beginning of a patient customer standing up and saying enough is enough. This company is not professional at all which is evident through their consistent lies, inability to pay their contracted videographers, and nonchalant attitude about this situation. I finally received the edited DVD of my wedding ceremony and reception 19 weeks after my event date and it was very disheartening to view the video in such poor quality. There were numerous errors throughout the video including sound echoing, screen jumping, etc. I contacted the company for the now countless time and requested that the errors be resubmitted to the editor, corrected, and returned to me expeditiously. After two weeks with no response, my lawyer contacted him. John told the lawyer his last name and promised to either fix the problem in 10-14 days or refund the money. Today, 12-18-08, John left a message on my phone and stated that he would not do either. John said that the video tape was beautiful and he was flabbergasted that I would want to sue him. I regret ever using this company and hope that this review will help you make a decision about which video company to use. | |||||||||

I received a letter from survey canada stating that they had teamed up with canada post and Regal. They wanted me to send a money gram and do a survey on the service I received. They sent me a cheque for $1867.39 and I had to use $1733 of it to send the money gram, the remaining $104.39 would be mine to keep. I called the number given and spoke to Nancy Portelli who seemed legit, boy was I wrong. I deposited the Cheque November 24, 2009 and it was returned NSF on December 1, 2009. I had already paid out the money so I was now out $1867.39. I contacted Regal, they said it was a scam, I contacted my bank and they said the cheque was a fake. I have since contacted the police and now i wait to see if by some miracle I might get my money back. MERRY CHRISTMAS. | |||||||||
