I bought a car advertised on gum tree last thursday. Today is wednesday and the car has broken down. I've contacted clive from new addington (the guy i bought the car from) and told him what has happened and he said he would ring me back. I waited three hours for him to reply and now he is not answering my calls. Im so frustrated, this has got to be against some kind of law.

If its a dealer, he has obligations to you. If its a private seller, depending on what he said in his advert will depend whether he is further obligated to you and what has gone wrong with the car.
