I ordered three parts for my car from European Salvage, only one of which was delivered, but was not as described and was so badly damaged I had to send it back. After a multitude of phone calls and emails none of which was responded to, some money was refunded, but I'm still owed £121.31. The last inadequate payment was made only after I sent a letter by recorded delivery to Gourmeaj and Gourmit Singh, and backed up by an email in which I described what actions I would take in the event that I did not get a full refund. After receiving notification of the final payment, I sent another email to the Singhs making it clear that I was not satisfied and would commence the actions I described in my letter, among which was to post a comment on this site. I was later contacted by a lady called Lucy from Breakerlink who told me that I would get a call from a Kelly Singh. Later that evening I received a call from a private number in which a demented individual (unidentified) accused me of sleeping with his wife and threatening to kill me. Later that night, I received another call from someone purporting to be a gypsy living on a caravan site in surrey, and warning me that I should not post any comments on the internet "if you know what's good for you". I contacted the police, of course, and they are now involved.
Subsequent to the above, and after sending my story to the BBC's Watchdog, I received yet another abusive phone call from a private number, again threatening me with violence and containing racist remarks (the caller was clearly non-white). A further very short call followed in which the caller said "I've got your address", and rang off.

[06/03/2010] M, Lezemore: I bought a reconditioned alternator over the phone after seeing the ad on ebay.
waited over a week to get the part, when it did arrive it was coverd in grease and oil
obviously not a reconditioned part. was told by a guy called John to try it on the vehicle. I did this as I desperatly needed the car on the road. Found alternator only puting out 12.5 volts, should be 14 volts. Was then told to try washing the alternator with soapy water, I told him that was not going to happen, Aventually they said to send it back and they would( recondition ) it. I sent it back at my own expence but
they kept refusing to sighn for it, I gave up after five attempted deliveries.
When I got the credit card statement I found that they had also overcharged me.
Was quoted £85+£11 delivery (next day). They charged me £85+£20 and 5% for using credit card, Barclaycard say that 2% is max they can charge, total came
to £129.53, " could have got a proper one for that ".
I have reported this to Consumer Direct and to Barclaycard and to ebay, Please all victims of these scum bags report them as well, It is the only " legal " way to get them shut down,
[17/03/2010] Artur Gajda: I am surprised of fhe number of complaints this company has received. I myself have been a victim of this company. I ordered a ECU for a gear box for an Audi A6 automatic from these people and received a wrong one. After many telephone conversation complaining about receiving gthe wrong item he stopped answering my calls and refused to refund me trying to convince me that it is the right part which has been programmed correctly. Now I have a part that I cant use and out off pocket of £ 482.00/ Another think is that I was quoted £ 260.00 and my bank statement arrived it showed a debit of £ 482.00 and when I mentioned that to a certain Peter who sold me the part on the phone, said that he never quoted me £ 260.00 for the part. I was also given the wrong address for the company ( Glasgow) by Peter himself. I am glad you mentioned their right address. I get my sollicitor to request the refund. I have concluded that this company has defrauding lots of people including myself and I will not rest to see justice prevailed. Let us get read of this company oce for all.
[29/07/2010] leo: these gangsters owe me over £580 for an engine i now beleive never existed! everything about the deal was absolutely sh*t from them taking parts of the "complete" engine< then they added vat which was never mentioned whatsoever! then getting fobbed of on phone for a month, bloke called john whas a right con man from the start, apparently a mr singh owns this {on the edge of the law} company! how on earth are they still operating? dont use them they are also trading as autopartsraymond.
